Sarah and Bev came to lunch and Sarah brought her rather crazy dog called Max, he was all over the place so when she said she wanted a photo, I wondered if he would stay still long enough. We did get a couple of good ones by making funny noises, bit like children really!

Luke & Elizabeth's Wedding

Elizabeth and Luke married at Moreton in Marsh Registry Office followed by a reception at The White Royal Hart Hotel also in Moreton.

The bride looked gorgeous and the groom was not too bad either! They looked so happy.

The ceremony was lovely and emotional, there was a lighter moment when the bride said awful instead of lawful, so funny.

The staff at the hotel had set the table up very pretty for the wedding breakfast.

The photos show how happy everyone was, I really enjoyed myself!

Christmas Studio Shoot.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I always try to do a family studio photo of my grandson Jake and his mum Dani (my daughter in law) and his dad Lee (my son).

Of course at Christmas there are more interesting things to do so it is not that easy!

We did however get a few nice ones.

Kev & Jo's Blessing of Marriage

Kev & Jo's Blessing of Marriage took place at St Giles Church, Wendlebury, followed by a reception at The Great Barn at Ayhno

It was a lovely October day, yes another one!

Lots of laughing and fun during the day, and not your typical romantic first dance.

An energetic ceilidh was underway with the guests joining in, I think I needed some danger money trying to keep up with them, great fun!

Washbourne Court Hotel Wedding

Karen and Paul married at the Washbourne Court Hotel in Lower Slaughter. Their son Liam decided to scrape his head a week before so their will be a bit of work to do in photo-shop :) The staff at the hotel were really helpful and friendly, no rush at all. It was a happy day.

I joined another local photographer Caroline to photograph an event by Elmwood Equestrian , it was a combined training event and held at Bampton. I had not taken these sort of pictures before so it was a steep learning curve. I think I was getting the hang of it by the end of the day though.

Gloucester Cathedral

Did a shoot at the beautiful Gloucester Cathedral

The weather was glorious. It was the first time I had been there, a colleague of mine asked if I would assist her which I was more than happy to do.

Did whizz around Gloucester a few times before I realised I had to drive up the pedestrian area to enter the cathedral parking! That was the most stressful bit of the day :)

Nikki and Mike got married at Highnam Church near Gloucester and then we went to The Bay Tree Hotel in Burford for the reception.
The weather was good and everyone had a good time.
We had a little drive to the nearby village of Shilton and took a few pics in the wheat field (well I think it was wheat)!

Pat & Bob at Witney Registry Office

I had the great pleasure of photographing Pat and Bob's wedding at Witney Registry Office

We all went back to The Chequers at Brize Norton for the reception.

Bob was a retired parachute jump instructor and had been based at Brize, some of his old buddies were there. There were laughs all day, it was such good fun (for me too).

Pat looked very elegant and the happiness of the day was evident in all the smiles and laughter.

Went to a meeting of The Wedding Photographers Ring today. The meeting was held in Cirencester. There was lots of discussion on how to move the group forward. Advertising in different counties newspapers has been very successful, it is very exciting that things are happening for us all.

Had a good week. Lovely weather, like it a bit colder for walking. Saw a squirrel zipping along a telephone wire over main road -no I did not have camera with me.
Got a bronze award with Guild of Photographers this month.
Took some pics for Jane of her 2 lovely girls.
Love this one, how often would you get 6 week old and 2 year old to make eye contact-yeh!

Went to see Damien Lovegrove last night in London. Went with Neil and Maggie. Saw 200 portraits taken by Damien and discussed the lighting.
Had 2 pints of shandy in pub and felt quite tiddly!

Well everyone says I should start a blog, not sure I know what to say but here goes!

Grandson Jake came today, took some studio pics, some with timer, should have done some air brushing-I haven't really got a double chin!

Think Jake is going to be a great photographer, he told me where to put the lights and reflector and made sure I had switched them on!
